Effective February 2024, CM/MZ will have 2 levels of DKIM for our customers 1) Economy and 2) Premier. Economy will be a blanket DKIM of all emails under chambermaster.com without customers needing to do any DNS changes or setup. Premier will be for customers who would like to take it to the next level and have DKIM signing with their own domain name and have their DNS records updated accordingly.
A new external article for our customers can be found here: https://helpdesk.chambermaster.com/kb/article/6525-required-dns-records-for-setting-up-dkim-with-the-chambermaster-memberzone-database/
Here are the new records that are available to use now with new configurations within CM/MZ and PowerMTA released as of 2/1/24:
| Current Records For New Setups | |
|---|---|
| TXT RECORDS | |
| HOST | VALUE |
| _dmarc |
v=DMARC1; p=none; sp=none |
| @ (or none) |
v=spf1 mx include:spf.memberzone.com -all
Note: If you have an existing SPF record add the following text to the existing record instead of adding the SPF record above.
include:spf.memberzone.com
EXAMPLE: v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com include:spf.memberzone.com -all
IMPORTANT: The SPF record must end in -all as opposed to ~all. |
| CNAME RECORDS | |
| HOST | VALUE |
| cm._domainkey | dkim1.chambermaster.com |
| cm2._domainkey | dkim2.chambermaster.com |
We do not have the same "validation" button as GZ, but there is a new manual setting that we can check (as SA users) once we have verified customers have properly setup these records:
A news article has also been drafted for internal and external use: https://events.chambermaster.com/news/details/new-bulk-email-sender-requirements-for-february-2024
Please note that the option in ChamberMaster/MemberZone > SETUP > ASSOCIATION CONTROL PANEL > EMAIL SERVER SETTINGS > "Allow Unsubscribe From All Emails" should be checked to allow for "one-click unsubscribe".
