Allow Reps to Create MIC Login via Login Screen

If the rep does not have a login, the quickest way for them to gain access would be to use the link provided in the login screen if the option is turned on. Allowing new login accounts to the Member Information Center (MIC) may be something you'd like to control so we've made this a setting that can be enabled/disabled at your discretion.

  1. Click Setup in the left-hand navigation menu.
  2. Click General Options & Settings in the Association Information area.

  3. Select the Allow representatives to create a login/password from the Login screen checkbox.

  1. When this option is selected, a No Log-in created? Sign Up Now link will be displayed on the MIC login page.
  1. After clicking the Sign up now link, the rep enters their email address.

    • If their email address exists on a rep account in your database, a verification email is sent to that address where the Create Account link is provided. Last Name is requested if the rep email exists more than once on a single member.

    • If their email address does not exist in your database, they are advised to contact your organization for additional information.

      • Upon providing the correct matching information, a verification email is sent and the rep can create their account.
