The Symptom: Your Constant Contact synchronization has stopped working. The nightly sync no longer updates your Constant Contact lists — newly added member representatives are missing from the list, and representatives who have been dropped in ChamberMaster are still present in Constant Contact.
The Root Cause: In most cases, the login for your Constant Contact account was changed — but it was never updated in ChamberMaster. ChamberMaster is still holding the old authorization, so when the nightly sync runs, Constant Contact rejects it. Reconnecting the integration with the current credentials restores the sync.
The Fix
Follow these steps in order. Steps 2 through 4 are there to force a clean login — skipping them is the most common reason this fix does not take effect.
-
Disable the current Constant Contact connection. Click Setup in the left-hand menu, then under Association Options, click General Options and Settings. Scroll down to the Add-On Manager section and select Click here to disable the Constant Contact connection. Then select Save at the bottom of the screen.
-
Log out of ChamberMaster using the circular arrow in the upper-right corner.
- Open an incognito or private tab in your web browser.
- Go to https://app.chambermaster.com/login and type your ChamberMaster username and password. Do not let your browser autofill them — a saved password may be what is out of date.
-
Reconnect the integration. Click Setup in the left-hand menu, then General Options and Settings under Association Options. Scroll to the Add-On Manager section and select Connect Now.
- Type your Constant Contact login details — again, do not use autofill.
- Enter the security code. Constant Contact sends a code by text or email. Enter it to complete the authorization.
- Once you are successfully connected, select Save at the bottom of the screen in ChamberMaster.
-
Run a full sync. You have two options:
- Wait until the next day, when the nightly sync runs again automatically.
- During business hours, email support@growthzone.com and request a Constant Contact Full Sync.
Verification: How to know it worked Once the full sync has completed, open Constant Contact and review the list named All Active and Courtesy Representatives from ChamberMaster/MemberZone. Confirm that newly added member representative emails are now included, and that dropped member representative emails have been excluded.
Still not syncing? In Constant Contact, rename or delete the list named All Active and Courtesy Representatives from ChamberMaster/MemberZone. This forces ChamberMaster to generate a fresh list on the next sync. If the sync still fails after that, contact support@growthzone.com.
