Inactivate an Account from Chart of Accounts (CoA)

1. Click Setup in the left-hand menu.
2. Click Chart of Accounts in the "Billing" area. The current Chart of Accounts will display.
3. Click the title of the Account you wish to remove in the Account Name column.
4. Select Inactive from the Account Status drop-down list.

NOTE: Best practice is to inactivate accounts as opposed to deleting them.

5. Click Save.
