- They already use a member for their third-party processor Resolution: Provide a comparison to determine if their savings would be greater than the cost of losing a member... don't just compare rates, compare features that save staff time which saves $$ Would another resolution be to use the member for one portion of payment processing such as donations, and use GZ Pay for the most labor-intensive areas, where the integration is going to provide the most streamlining of staff time
- Cost Resolution: Prepare a comparison to see if we can negotiate rates We have competitive rates.
- The board is afraid of change Resolution: Reassure them this is an easy process and there is a personal one-hour training that comes with it and it makes the day-to-day operations easier for staff
- The accountant/bookkeeper doesn’t like that the transaction fee is taken out before the money is deposited into the bank account. Resolution: The Journal Entry Export is in full amounts. Download the Bank Account Deposit/Transfer report at the end of the month, total the GZPay fees and create an expense entry into accounting software (QB) to offset the fees that went in as full.
