The email template Automatic Monthly Payment Invitation may be used to encourage your members to store their credit card or bank account information via the Member Information Center (MIC).
The template includes a link to the MIC where they can easily enter their Payment Profile. Open the email template Automatic Monthly Payment Invitation, modify it with any desired changes, and send it to your members. It also includes suggested authorization verbiage that you should modify to fit your needs, noticing especially the use of the mail merge field [Annual Fees and Dues Amount] which displays the total value of all recurring Membership Fees and Dues assigned to their account.
Members have the option to notify you once they’ve entered their Payment Profile and would like to set up automatic payments or to set themselves up for automatic payments on their own. This will send an email to the address listed under Setup > Billing Options and Settings under Credit Cards section. If no email is selected here, the email under Setup > Association Information will be notified.
